About these terms
This website is run by Bin Ninja LLC, doing business as Ninja Christmas Lights ("we," "us"), a holiday lighting business owned by Tyler and Chelsea May, based in Bozeman, Montana, and serving Gallatin County and nearby areas.
These terms cover your use of this website, our design tool, and our text messages and emails. By using this website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
They aren't your service agreement: the quote you accept, and anything else we agree with you about your job, covers the work itself.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or request services from Ninja Christmas Lights. By using the website, sending a form, asking for a quote, using our design tool, or buying or arranging services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and are legally able to enter into an agreement.
If you are acting on behalf of another person, property owner, business, or organization, you also represent that you have authority to act on their behalf.
Using this website
This website is here so you can learn what we do, ask us for a quote and, when our design tool is available, design your lights. Please don't use it to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, or to send someone else's contact details as if they were your own.
Quotes and work
Everything on this site is information, not an offer or a contract. Asking for a quote, or sending us a design, doesn't book work.
Quotes are free. We meet in person or virtually, and we'll confirm what we'll do, and what it costs, with you before any work is booked. If anything on this website ever conflicts with the quote or agreement for your job, the quote or agreement is what counts.
Our design tool
If you use the design tool on our homepage, the pictures it makes are illustrations to help you plan. They aren't exact. Lights may be placed, sized or colored differently from what can actually be installed on your house, and a picture isn't a measurement, an engineering, electrical or safety assessment, or a photo of finished work.
If you measure your house in the tool, by marking your garage door or front door, it shows an estimate: a price range, with the footage of each type of light, worked out from your marks and average industry rates. If you skip measuring, it shows a typical starting price instead. Neither is an offer or a quote. Your actual price depends on your design and your property, and we confirm the final design and price with you before any work is booked.
If you choose "Create realistic photo", that picture is AI-generated and can be wrong in the same ways. The option may be limited or turned off at any time.
Sending us a design lets us contact you about it. It doesn't sign you up for our text messages or our marketing emails.
The design tool is run for us by Svear, the web agency that built this website. How it handles your photo and details is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your photos and designs
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to use it, and you let us, and Svear as the design tool's provider, use it only to show you your design (including a realistic photo, if you choose one), to prepare and send your request, and to give you a quote.
Please only upload photos of a property you own or are arranging work for, and try to leave other people out of them.
Text messages (SMS)
These SMS terms are between you and Bin Ninja LLC, doing business as Ninja Christmas Lights ("we," "us"), and cover the Ninja Christmas Lights text message programs.
The two kinds of texts we send
Ninja Christmas Lights runs two separate text message programs.
- Service texts are about work you have asked us about: replies to your quote request, your quote and follow-up about it, scheduling and confirming your installation, in-season visits and takedown, arrival times, changes to a scheduled visit, and service updates you have asked us for.
- Marketing texts are recurring promotional messages: seasonal offers, availability and booking reminders for the coming season, and other Ninja Christmas Lights promotional messages.
These are separate opt-ins. Agreeing to one does not opt you into the other.
How to join
You join a program only by agreeing to that program specifically. Our website's quote form doesn't offer a text message sign-up yet, so sending it, or sending us a design, doesn't sign you up for either program.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. You don't need to agree to either program to ask us for a quote.
We never add a number to either program because it was typed into a form, and we never treat sending us a quote request as agreement to be texted.
Where our texts come from
Our texts come from our business texting number. Our customer support number is (406) 600-4227. That's how you reach a person.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Service texts about your quote or installation are sent as needed while your job is active. Marketing texts, if you agreed to them, are recurring and seasonal.
Cost
Ninja Christmas Lights does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply. Ask your wireless provider about your text and data plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text we send you and we'll stop. Our messaging platform and the mobile carriers may also recognize QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT OUT and REVOKE.

Stopping texts stops both programs. If you have an installation booked and still want scheduling texts, call us and tell us. You can rejoin later by opting in again.

Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about privacy, please read it.
Emails
We email you about your quote request, your quote and any work you book with us. We send occasional marketing emails only to our customers and to people who have agreed to receive them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Unsubscribing stops marketing emails, not emails about a quote or job you've asked us for. Our Privacy Policy explains more.
Our website content
The text, photographs, logo and design of this website belong to Bin Ninja LLC, doing business as Ninja Christmas Lights or to the people who license them to us. Please don't copy or republish them without asking us first.
Other companies' websites
Links to other websites, such as our Facebook and Instagram pages, take you to sites we don't control. Those companies' own terms and privacy policies apply there, and we aren't responsible for their content.
No warranty, and limits on liability
We keep this website and the design tool up and accurate as best we can, but we provide them as they are. We don't promise they will always be available or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from using this website or the design tool, or from relying on information or pictures on them, rather than from work we've agreed to do. Nothing in these terms limits anything we owe you under a quote or agreement you've accepted, or any responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Data security
Ninja Christmas Lights takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information submitted through the website and our services. However, no electronic transmission, system, or method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Customers are responsible for using reasonable care when transmitting sensitive information and for maintaining the security of any devices, accounts, or communication methods they use to communicate with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana and applicable federal law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll post the updated terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Changes apply to your use of this website from the date they are posted. They don't change a quote or agreement you have already accepted, and they don't change the terms of your text message consent.
